Privacy Policy
Last updated October 18, 2026
OneView Financial LLC ("OneView," "we," "us") runs the OneView app and website at oneviewfi.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. The short version: we use your data to run your account, we don't sell it, and we don't show ads.
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address and password (stored only as a secure hash), or, if you sign in with Google, the name and email address Google shares with us.
- Financial data from your banks. When you connect a bank, card, loan or brokerage through Plaid, we receive the account names, last four digits, types, balances and transactions. We never receive or store your bank username or password.
- What you add yourself. Manual accounts, properties, businesses, ownership shares, categories, rules, notes, splits and any history you ask us to import.
- Billing details. If you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. We keep your subscription status and Stripe customer reference, not your card number.
- Technical data. Basic logs our hosting providers keep to run and secure the service, such as IP address, browser type and request times.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember settings like light or dark mode. We don't use analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To show your accounts, transactions, net worth and reports.
- To keep your bank connections in sync and apply your rules.
- To bill your subscription and run the free trial.
- To answer support requests and send account emails, such as sign-up and password reset links.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
We don't sell your data, rent it, or use it for advertising, and we don't use your financial data to train AI models.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run OneView, each limited to what it needs to do its job:
- Supabase stores your data and handles sign-in.
- Vercel hosts the app and website.
- Plaid connects your financial accounts. Plaid's handling of your data is covered by the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Google handles sign-in if you choose to sign in with Google. Bank and merchant logos are loaded from Google's public logo service, which sees the website address of the bank or store whose logo is shown, never your account data.
- Our email provider, to deliver account emails.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights or safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
AI assistants you connect
If you create an agent connector in Settings, the AI assistant you give it to (for example Claude or ChatGPT) can read your accounts and transactions and make the limited changes the connector allows. That assistant's own privacy policy governs what it does with the data. Every change an assistant makes is logged in your account, and you can revoke a connector at any time, which cuts off its access immediately.
How long we keep it, and deleting your account
We keep your data while your account is open. To delete your account, email support@oneviewfi.com from the address you sign in with. We disconnect your banks, delete your account and its data within 30 days, and remove it from backups as they expire. We may keep limited billing records where the law requires it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to your account by database-level rules, and bank credentials stay with Plaid. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects it, as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can see and edit your data in the app at any time, disconnect a bank or revoke an assistant from your settings, and ask us for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion by emailing support. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights under local law; we honor them for every user.
Children
OneView is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we learn we have.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect.
